Job summary

Atlas Technica, a trusted MSP, is hiring a Sr. Systems Engineer to join our remote US Support team. The role focuses on advanced remote support, systems administration, infrastructure troubleshooting, and technical escalation across client environments.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with Client Technology Managers, and drive cloud, security, and infrastructure initiatives while maintaining a customer‑first approach. Availability aligns with West Coast business hours.

Qualifications

3+ years of IT experience in systems engineering or related field.
Strong Windows Server, AD, and identity management knowledge.
Experience with Microsoft 365 environments and security tooling.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced remote IT support across client environments.
Serve as escalation point for junior engineers and peers.
Mentor engineers with troubleshooting, documentation, and best practices.
Manage and resolve complex support requests via ticketing system.
Administer and support Microsoft 365 technologies (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, Teams, Entra ID).
Support Windows Server environments, AD, GPO, IAM, and endpoint-management tech.
Troubleshoot networking, virtualization, cybersecurity, cloud, and infra issues.
Support Azure workloads and contribute to cloud initiatives.
Implement and support enterprise networking equipment (firewalls, switches, wireless).
Balance escalations, tickets, projects, and improvement work.
Maintain technical docs, procedures, wiki, and change controls.
Evaluate emerging tech and recommend improvements.
