Job summary

Atlas Technica, a remote-first IT management and cybersecurity provider, seeks a Sr. Systems Engineer to join our United States-based Support team. This highly technical, hands-on role focuses on remote support, systems administration, infrastructure troubleshooting, and technical escalation across client environments.

The Sr. Systems Engineer serves as an escalation point for Junior and Systems Engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and support across complex client issues.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT experience in systems engineering or related technical environment.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 environments: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, Entra ID.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and remote support skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced remote IT support across client environments.
• Escalation point for junior engineers on complex issues.
• Mentor engineers through troubleshooting, documentation, and best practices.
• Manage and resolve complex tickets in the ticketing system.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 technologies including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Intune, Teams, and Entra ID.
• Support Windows Server environments, Active Directory, GPO, IAM, and endpoint-management technologies.
• Troubleshoot networking, virtualization, cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure issues.
• Support Microsoft Azure workloads and contribute to cloud initiatives.
• Implement and support enterprise networking technologies (firewalls, switches, wireless).
• Balance escalations, tickets, projects, and improvement initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and build standards with change-control.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations to improve standards.
