Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Senior Accountant, Inventory & Cost Accounting for a fully remote role based in the United States. You will own end-to-end inventory accounting, including BOMs and standard costs, across a global supply chain, collaborating with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance.

You will manage month-end close, cost analyses, and variance reporting, while maintaining strong internal controls and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with significant inventory and cost accounting responsibility.
• Experience in manufacturing or inventory-intensive environments preferred.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge including ASC 330 and variance analysis.
• Hands-on ERP experience with inventory and BOM modules; Infor preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivots, modeling).
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end inventory accounting for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods across multiple regions.
• Record monthly inventory transactions in ERP, including receipts, transfers, and cost of sales.
• Perform reconciliations between inventory subledger and GL with supporting documentation.
• Support US GAAP inventory valuation and lower-of-cost-or-NRV analyses.
• Act as primary finance contact for manufacturers, warehouses, and logistics on inventory matters.
• Coordinate physical and cycle counts, review external inventory reports, reconcile discrepancies.
