Job summary

Jobgether SRL seeks a Senior Manager, Accounting Team Lead for a fully remote US-based role. Lead Client Leads, mentor accounting professionals, and ensure top-tier GAAP-compliant delivery across a portfolio of engagements.

You will manage delivery quality, client relations, and capacity planning while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement in a distributed professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• CPA certification is required.
• 7–10 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in leadership.
• Experience in public accounting at Manager level or outsourced leadership is preferred.
• Deep GAAP knowledge and startup/high-growth experience.
• Experience with SAFEs, convertible instruments, ASC 606, equity compensation.
• Strong ability to lead a team while managing client portfolios and delivering high quality work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for senior client interactions.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online; NetSuite or Sage Intacct preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach Client Leads on design, client management, delivery strategy, and standards.
• Review approaches to identify risks, complexity, and improvements.
• Escalate delivery challenges, capacity issues, and client concerns.
• Ensure accounting deliverables meet quality standards before client delivery.
• Conduct formal performance reviews and career development discussions.
• Identify capability gaps and address them through coaching and training.
• Promote a culture of accountability, judgment, and independence.
• Balance workloads and adjust resources for close periods and demand changes.
• Promote consistent execution and reduce unnecessary processes.
• Maintain cross-training and documentation to avoid single-point dependency.
• Stay technically current with a focused client portfolio and leadership development.
• Partner with other service lines to translate standards into client-ready execution.
• Identify recurring issues and communicate improvements to leadership.
