Leading international law firm seeks a Senior Associate Attorney to join its Insurance Coverage Practice Group in the Los Angeles area. The role handles high-value coverage litigation and market conduct for domestic and international insurers, across CGL, property, E&O, and D&O matters.

Ideal candidate has a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, Law Review or Honors, active California bar in good standing, 6+ years of substantive insurance-litigation experience, and strong research/writing

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic record
• Law Review and/or Honors required
• Active California Bar membership in good standing
• 6+ years of substantive litigation experience focusing on insurance coverage
• Experience analyzing complex insurance policies and drafting coverage opinions
• Experience in depositions, mediations, and litigation proceedings
• Familiarity with bad faith, CGL, property, E&O, D&O insurance topics
• Strong legal research and writing skills; excellent organization and independence

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions
• Provide clear, actionable coverage recommendations
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other tools
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
• Draft interrogatories, document requests, and responses
• Review and analyze document collections for litigation
• Communicate with domestic and international insurers
• Collaborate with partners to advance case objectives
