Qualifications

• Master's degree in instructional design, instructional technology, education, or related field
• Three years of professional level experience in course design and development, faculty training, or program/course assessment/evaluation
• Additional education may substitute for required experience and related experience may substitute for required education per JHU policy

Responsibilities

• Serve as project manager leading teams for timely development of courses or projects
• Develop project management plans to meet timelines
• Mentor or direct instructional designers and other staff on complex projects
• Partner with leadership to develop program and curriculum summaries
• Conduct formative and summative evaluation of instructional content and outcomes
• Execute instructional design plans for engaging online, blended, or print materials
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to outline objectives, methods, and assessment plans
• Advise on effective use of instructional resources for projects
• Create and maintain documentation on pedagogy, design, tools, and techniques
• Collaborate with distance education and instructional technology staff
