Job summary

Johns Hopkins University’s Peabody Institute invites applications for a Sr. Instructional Technologist to lead instructional technology support for online and hybrid courses across music, dance, and performing arts.

You will supervise staff, collaborate with faculty, manage LMS (Canvas) and multimedia tools, and guide course production and delivery. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in instructional tech are required, with preferred Canvas/LTI, Panopto, and Articulate 360 experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in instructional design, instructional technology, education, or related field.
Five years of related experience.
Ability to troubleshoot complex technology problems and communicate technical concepts clearly to users.

Responsibilities

Supervise instructional technologists, contractors, and student workers.
Provide instructional technology guidance to faculty, staff, and students.
Maintain and improve instructional technology infrastructure including LMS, licenses, and video platforms.
Lead support for 700-level master’s courses, undergrad/grad courses, MOOC and non-credit initiatives.
Conduct faculty trainings on instructional technology tools and services.
Manage equipment inventory for multimedia and course production.
Collaborate with instructional designers and multimedia technicians on learning experiences.
