Job summary

HealthEquity is seeking a Sr IAM Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and operate IAM and cloud security across multi-cloud environments. You will develop AI-enabled IAM tools and automations, ensuring secure access controls, governance, and compliance. Remote work in the US is supported.

The role emphasizes collaboration with AI COE, governance teams, and application owners to mature identity processes and protect sensitive data using modern authentication architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 8–10 years in IAM engineering, cloud security, or GenAI/ML engineering.
• Experience with IAM in cloud/hybrid environments (Entra ID, Okta, Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience automating identity lifecycle, access controls, and entitlement governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain IAM frameworks across multi-cloud environments.
• Build detection pipelines and automate compliance checks.
• Support secure use of GenAI in IAM environments and automate workflows.
• Collaborate with engineers and security teams to align with governance and compliance.
