Job summary

HealthEquity, Inc. is seeking an IAM Engineer to lead detection, prevention, and automation strategies for identity governance across enterprise systems. You will leverage SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, Entra ID, and AI-enabled tooling to improve access hygiene and adaptively manage access decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of IAM, cybersecurity, or information security experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise IAM solutions and access governance.
• Experience with automation, scripting, data analysis, or AI-assisted workflow improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and optimize IAM solutions like SailPoint Identity Security Cloud and Entra ID to support secure access across enterprise systems.
• Develop, maintain, and improve automation for IAM processes including provisioning, compliance reporting, role management, entitlement review, and routine workflows.
• Utilize AI-enabled capabilities to identify anomalies, summarize access issues, and propose remediation steps.
• Build AI solutions using Claude, Copilot on Azure, and Langchain to create autonomous IAM tooling.
• Lead retrieval-augmented LLM tools to answer analyst queries and summarize issues for access requests and remediation.
• Collaborate with the AI COE and AI Engineering teams for best practices and AI support.
• Use IAM data and analytics to identify access trends, KPIs, and provide actionable insights for IAM stakeholders.
