Job summary

Delinea’s cybersecurity team seeks an experienced Senior Manager, Identity and Access Management, to build and mature the IAM program across the enterprise. You will partner with Security Engineering, IT and Product teams to govern, provision, and secure identity across Entra ID, Active Directory, AWS IAM, Okta and StrongDM.

Lead a small IAM engineering team toward zero-trust goals and auditable access decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of identity and access management experience across directory services, authentication, and access governance.
• 2
• 4+ years of building and leading IAM or security engineering teams and developing junior talent.
• Hands-on experience with Entra ID and Active Directory, including hybrid identity and directory synchronization, conditional access.
• Experience with Okta and SSO/MFA policy design and lifecycle management.
• Experience with AWS IAM at scale, including roles, policies, and least-privilege review.
• Experience with StrongDM or similar privileged access tooling.
• Knowledge of SAML, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, and SCIM standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of the IAM program and reference architecture across workforce identity, application access, privileged access, and cloud entitlements.
• Build and lead a team of IAM engineers with clear performance goals and mentorship.
• Own joiner-mover-leaver lifecycle including automated provisioning and deprovisioning.
• Manage core identity platforms (Entra ID, AD, Okta) including SSO, MFA, conditional access, federation.
• Oversee privileged access and cloud entitlements, including StrongDM brokered access.
• Act as SME on IAM best practices, Zero Trust, and passwordless approaches.
• Ensure IAM program meets SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, FedRAMP and support audits.
• Define metrics for program effectiveness and report to executive leadership.
