Job summary

Upbound Group is hiring a Senior IAM Engineer to secure and scale our enterprise identity platform across on‑prem and cloud environments. You will lead design, provisioning automation, and governance for privileged access, while integrating enterprise HRIS and SaaS apps.

You will leverage Microsoft Entra ID, Terraform IaC, and CI/CD pipelines to strengthen security controls, with a focus on Zero Trust and cross‑functional collaboration in Plano, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity with 5–6+ years in Identity & Access Management.
• Deep practical knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and hybrid identity.
• Strong experience with Azure Container Apps or similar container services.
• Proficiency with Go for backend services and React.js for frontend integrations.
• Fluent in identity protocols: SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SCIM, FIDO2.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) environments and CA policies.
• Automate user provisioning/deprovisioning via Entra ID and SCIM pipelines.
• Govern privileged access using PIM and least-privilege RBAC across subscriptions.
• Participate in entitlement management, access reviews, and dynamic groups.
• Integrate SSO via SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect for SaaS and on‑prem apps.
• Support hybrid identity, including AD Connect / Cloud Sync and LDAP integrations.
