Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Sr. Instrumentation & Controls Engineer for a fully remote role focused on nuclear power facilities. You will lead design, evaluations, and modifications of I&C systems, overseeing project teams and coordinating with vendors and clients.

NRC compliance and digital upgrade initiatives are central to the role. Required 10+ years in I&C engineering, 5+ years supporting operating nuclear plants, and a PE license or progress toward one.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Significant experience with I&C engineering in nuclear environments.
• Experience with digital modernization projects and analog-to-digital upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering change and plant modification efforts for operating nuclear power plants.
• Develop and review engineering evaluations, analyses, and calculations for I&C systems.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and provide technical oversight.
