Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Instrumentation/Control Engineer to join our Energy division. This remote role is based out of Oak Ridge, TN or Richland, WA with responsibilities across design, development, and maintenance of I&C systems for nuclear projects.

You will lead, collaborate with teams, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in engineering, 7+ years in I&C, and familiarity with nuclear licensing and cyber security requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years relevant experience.
• PE license preferred; Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop I&C systems for nuclear projects and Small Modular Reactors.
• Prepare instrumentation and control system documentation including calculations and diagrams.
• Support commissioning, testing, and field execution of I&C packages.
• Provide technical guidance and training to staff on I&C design and safety requirements.
