Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Engineering I&C Manager Energy to lead nuclear I&C and electrical engineering initiatives. This remote role is anchored at our Oak Ridge, TN office, supporting premier nuclear projects and DOE/commercial clients across the U.S.

The ideal candidate holds a PE license with 15+ years in nuclear design/construction, excels in communication, and can guide cross-functional teams to meet milestones in complex environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
• 15 years of direct nuclear design, engineering and construction experience.
• PE license with ability to be licensed in multiple jurisdictions.
• Expert knowledge of key design codes and standards for commercial nuclear facilities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills in a multi-tiered environment.
• Senior design professional experience on Commercial and DOE nuclear projects preferred.
• Nuclear OEM experience (NSSS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional teams (I&C and electrical engineering) for nuclear projects.
• Provide technical direction and oversight of senior professionals.
• Interface with senior management and project managers across the firm.
• Set technical criteria and provide input to project teams and clients.
• Represent the company’s technical work to clients and regulators.
• Drive riskier initiatives with strategic execution plans.
