Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a strategic sales professional to drive new business with health systems and hospital networks nationwide. The role emphasizes developing relationships with C-Suite leaders, delivering compelling proposals, and growing contract revenue in a remote-work environment.

You will analyze market opportunities, coordinate cross-functional teams, and present to prospective clients while traveling up to half the year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• 3+ years of senior-level sales experience with hospital or complex products/services.
• Familiar with health system, specialty and retail pharmacy operations.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Teams, Salesforce) to communicate and analyze.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to travel ~50% of the time and travel by air or car.
• Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) background check required.
• Residence near a major airport.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and executes strategic sales and marketing plans aligned with corporate goals.
• Research and analyze market opportunities; manage databases of potential customers.
• Monitor competitors and market activities; assess customer needs.
• Lead channel development and achieve sales quotas and goals.
• Maintain a consistent corporate image; liaise with outside agencies on campaigns.
• Represent the company at trade association meetings and present to clients.
