Job summary

UnitedHealthcare is seeking a qualified specialist for the Quality Reporting Operations team to oversee HEDIS data reporting and process improvements across programs. This role supports NCQA/HEDIS reporting requirements and ensures alignment with organizational strategy while enabling data-driven decision making. The position offers telecommuting flexibility within the U.S.

and requires in-office presence four days a week for Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 3+ years of experience in analysis and reporting.
• 3+ years of experience interpreting and analyzing large amounts of data from multiple sources.
• 2+ years of HEDIS or CMS stars experience.
• 2+ years of healthcare experience.
• Intermediate level of proficiency in MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate, oversee and monitor on-going business processes to support HEDIS data reporting.
• Monitor compliance against relevant process requirements (e.g., turnaround time, accuracy).
• Evaluate processes and outcomes against benchmarks and metrics and identify potential business impacts of current state.
• Coordinate with medical record vendors on file loads and resolving technical project issues.
• Monitor and analyze business process information to identify key issues, trends, and potential root causes that point to improvement opportunities.
• Lead and participate in workgroups to implement process improvement and prepare to meet business requirements.
