Job summary

You will mentor junior analysts, develop and validate analytic approaches, and present results to diverse audiences including clinicians and sponsors.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative field such as statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology or public health.
• Progressively more responsible statistical programming experience.
• At least 4 years professional experience with statistical software, SAS preferred (survival analysis).
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and health care analytics.
• Strong communication skills for sponsors and policy makers.
• Mentoring skills and possible supervisory or teaching experience.
• Experience with Arbor Research projects or contracts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate research development with lead investigators and ensure timely completion of assignments.
• Contribute to design of analytical approaches for specific research questions.
• Adhere to coding, documentation, and review standards, maintaining professional work ethic.
• Perform a wide range of analyses, write journal papers, and provide data analyses for funding bodies.
• Prepare medical and statistical papers and presentations for epidemiologic research.
• Assist authors with tables and figures for manuscripts.
• Present results to biostatisticians and clinicians at public forums.
• Attend committee meetings and national/international conferences.
