Arbor Research Collaborative for Health is seeking an experienced Senior Research Analyst at the Senior level to design and execute complex health analytics. You will work with lead investigators, develop SAS-based analyses, and prepare papers and presentations for policy and epidemiologic research.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s/PhD in a quantitative field, have 4+ years of statistical programming experience (SAS preferred), and can mentor junior staff while coordinating multiple subprojects

Formación

• Master’s or PhD in quantitative field (Statistics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Economics, Public Health, Public Policy, etc.)
• Progressively more responsible statistical programming experience
• At least 4 years professional experience with statistical software, SAS preferred (survival analysis)
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and health care analytics
• Strong oral/written communication across sponsors and policy makers
• Mentoring skills including supervisory or teaching experience
• Demonstrated Arbor Research project/contract expertise
• Ability to run/lead subprojects with minimal intervention
• Contributions to field of health services research, biostatistics, or epidemiology (peer-reviewed publications)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate research development with lead investigators to meet deadlines
• Design analytical approaches for specific research questions
• Follow established analytics and documentation standards (checklists, code reviews)
• Deliver diverse analyses and write papers for journals or funders
• Prepare medical and statistical research papers and presentations
• Help authors with tables and figures for reports
• Present results to biostatisticians and clinicians; represent Arbor Research
• Attend meetings and national/international conferences
• Contribute to proposals for new projects
• Develop SAS code and verify accuracy of analyses
• Mentor junior analysts and lead subprojects
• Lead analytic approaches with Principal Investigators
• Demonstrate a great desire to improve skills/knowledge
• Demonstrated ability to work with external investigators
