Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Grant Administration Analyst to support Research Management with contracting, financial activities, and training for new hires. This remote, full-time role collaborates with Principal Investigators, Department Admins, and research teams.

You will analyze research operations, manage Pre-Award and Post-Award processes, ensure compliance with sponsors, and provide project management for research initiatives while using Excel, Teams, and Word.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance required; Master's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of grant administration experience required.
• Proficient with spreadsheets, databases, accounting software.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Teams, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Assist Research Management teams and MGB entities with Pre-Award, Post-Award, Contracting, and Financial activities.
• Independently take on client assignments with minimal supervision from the Team Lead.
• Participate in the Research Management Training program, acting as a trainer for clients and new team members.
• Conduct analysis of a client's research operations, identifying areas for process improvement and implement changes.
• Provide overall project management for specific research initiatives.
• Conduct financial analysis of research funds to ensure sponsor and internal policy compliance.
