Job summary

Mirantis is seeking a software engineer to design and build scalable storage infrastructure for GPU-accelerated AI workloads. You will develop control-plane services, CSI drivers, and tooling that connect enterprise storage with Kubernetes-based workloads across hybrid, edge, and air-gapped deployments using the Mirantis K0rdent stack.

The role emphasizes systems thinking, throughput, latency, and failure modes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with Golang in production systems.
• 5+ years of experience building distributed production systems at scale.
• 5+ years Kubernetes experience as a developer, with Infrastructure as a Code approach.
• Linux and Kubernetes storage fundamentals (NFS, CSI).

Responsibilities

• Design and build control-plane services and CSI drivers to provision and operate storage for Kubernetes workloads.
• Integrate high-performance storage platforms into declarative provisioning workflows.
• Develop data-path telemetry and observability tooling for performance, reliability, and scaling.
• Write production-quality Go code with strong testing, code review, and operational rigor.
