Job summary

Mirantis is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Golang) to design and build storage control-plane components and integration for Kubernetes-based AI/compute workloads. The role emphasizes high-performance, scalable software across remote US environments.

You will implement data-path and telemetry tooling, collaborate on Terraform/OpenTofu and GitOps pipelines (ArgoCD or Flux), and enable air-gapped and hybrid deployment readiness in a distributed, cloud-native platform.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with Go in production systems.
• 5+ years building distributed production systems at scale.
• 5+ years of Kubernetes experience as a developer with IaC.
• Linux and Kubernetes storage fundamentals (NFS, CSI).

Responsibilities

• Design and build control-plane services and drivers to provision and operate storage for Kubernetes workloads.
• Integrate high-performance storage platforms into automated, declarative provisioning workflows.
• Build data-path, telemetry, and observability tooling to diagnose performance, reliability, and scaling issues.
• Write production-quality Go software with strong testing, code review, and operational rigor.
• Deliver infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/OpenTofu) and GitOps pipelines (ArgoCD or Flux) for storage configuration and lifecycle.
• Support bare-metal and hybrid provisioning where storage intersects host and cluster bring-up.
