Job summary

Akraya, Inc. is seeking a Senior Global Category Manager to lead end-to-end commercial management and procurement governance for critical electrical substation equipment across North America, Europe, and Asia.

You will manage supplier relationships with 5–6 tier-one global suppliers, oversee PO lifecycles, drive cost negotiations, and ensure continuity of project delivery through governance and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing or global category management.
• Strong procurement background in heavy electrical infrastructure or substations.
• Proven track record negotiating supplier contracts and managing PO lifecycles.
• Experience with multi-regional supplier bases (North America / Asia).

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary commercial owner for 5–6 strategic global suppliers.
• Negotiate, execute, and govern supplier agreements and SOWs.
• Oversee category cost models and monitor pricing/indexation.
• Coordinate with Finance, Legal, and Compliance to maintain governance standards.
