Job summary

McKim & Creed, Inc. is seeking a Senior GIS Data Analyst to support the Water Asset Management team remotely in the Southeast US.

The role focuses on collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from IoT sensors, GIS systems, and client platforms to drive water conservation and smart resource management. The analyst will maintain asset data in Esri geodatabases, design dashboards, and integrate data across systems while collaborating with engineers and project managers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Geography/GIS, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
7–10 years of professional experience in data analysis, GIS, or IoT analytics.
Hands-on exposure to Esri Utility Network (UN) dataset editing/validation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to deliver insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication; remote work readiness.

Responsibilities

Data QA/QC of incoming meter, SCADA, and telemetry feeds to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Maintain and edit utility asset data in Esri geodatabases (UN-based models) with proper attribution and hierarchies.
Provide daily client updates with insights and trend identifications from data analysis.
Perform daily inventory checks across project locations and coordinate with teams to prevent shortages.
Coordinate maintenance activities and ensure timely interventions to minimize downtime.
Lead client meetings to review reports and discuss opportunities to expand services.
