Job summary

McKim & Creed, Inc. is seeking a Senior GIS Data Analyst to join our Water Asset Management team, working remotely within the Southeast.

You will collect, analyze, and interpret data from IoT sensors, GIS systems, asset registries, and client platforms to drive water conservation and smart resource management. This role focuses on building data pipelines, QA/QC, dashboards, and client reporting, coordinating with engineers and project managers to deliver actionable insights and reliable asset

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography/GIS, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years of professional experience in data analysis, GIS, or IoT analytics.
• Hands-on exposure to Esri Utility Network (UN) datasets and workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate data into insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to engage with clients and cross‑functional teams.
• Highly organized, self‑motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks remotely.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Perform data QA/QC on incoming meter, SCADA, and telemetry feeds to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain and edit utility asset data in Esri geodatabases and support asset registry workflows.
• Provide daily client updates with insights from data analysis and ensure effective communication.
• Monitor inventory across project locations and collaborate to prevent shortages.
• Coordinate maintenance allocations and optimize scheduling to reduce downtime.
• Lead weekly client meetings to review reports and identify opportunities for service expansion.
