Job summary

McKim & Creed, Inc. seeks a Senior GIS Data Analyst to support the Water Asset Management team remotely in the Southeast.

You will manage large datasets, maintain asset data in Esri geodatabases, design dashboards, and collaborate with engineers and PMs to refine analytics and reporting tools for water conservation initiatives. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography/GIS, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7–10 years of professional experience in data analysis, GIS, or IoT-related analytics.
• Hands-on exposure to the Esri Utility Network and editing/validating within UN-based datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to derive insights from complex data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions.
• Highly organized, self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record.

Responsibilities

• QA/QC of incoming data (meter, SCADA, telemetry) daily to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain and edit utility asset data in Esri geodatabases with attribution, connectivity and hierarchies.
• Support asset registry workflows and reconciliation against client systems (Cityworks, Maximo, Lucity, Cartegraph).
• Provide daily updates to clients with event notifications, trends and insights.
• Perform daily inventory checks across project locations and coordinate maintenance activities.
• Engage with clients through weekly meetings to review progress and opportunities to expand services.
