Optum Insight seeks a Process Reengineering Sr Solution Engineer remote in the U.S. to lead AI-first modernization efforts using GenAI, LLMs, RAG, and Agentic AI.

You will architect prototypes, drive production deployments, and coordinate across operations, product, and QA while mentoring engineers. Must have 10+ years IT with consulting background and deep AI/ML experience; strong Python, GitHub, and cloud skills.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT with consulting background
• 10+ years AI/ML or Data Science
• 5+ years IT in infrastructure, architecture or delivery
• 5+ years legacy/cloud modernization and process reengineering
• 5+ years Python and GitHub
• 5+ years deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
• 4+ years deploying AI/ML in production
• 2+ years AI-enabled process modernization across LOBs
• Deep experience in hyperscalers, preferably Google Cloud
• Knowledge in data engineering, AI, process improvement

Responsabilités

• Develop AI-first vision for modernization of existing systems and prototypes
• Build architectures, prototypes, and reference implementations with GenAI tech
• Deploy scalable and reliable solutions in production
• Prepare client-ready material and lead cloud strategy discussions
• Manage intake, coordination, and execution of engineering work
• Mentor and coach junior engineers
• Influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment
• Collaborate with Operations, Product, Architecture, and Quality
• Communicate clearly to align tech and business goals
• Contribute to Pharmacy Modernization aligned with enterprise strategy
• Work Eastern Time Zone hours for global collaboration
• Participate in on-call rotations
