Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr Mngr, Full Stack Clinical Platform Engineer to lead the design and deployment of production-grade Generative AI and ML solutions in regulated life sciences environments. The role is remote and contract-based, partnering with Clinical Operations, Data Management, Regulatory, and IT to build modern data platforms and AI-enabled pipelines.

Qualifications

• MS with 6+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• 5–7 years leading data engineering solutions in life sciences or healthcare with end-to-end delivery accountability.
• Expertise in clinical or biomedical data infrastructure including data lakes and warehouses for regulatory-grade data.
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery) and proficiency in Python, SQL, and R.

Responsibilities

• Translate ambiguous clinical problems into AI solutions from framing and data assessment to prototype, validation, and production deployment.
• Design and implement MLOps/LLMOps pipelines to deploy, monitor, and manage LLMs in production environments with CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with data scientists to deploy and fine-tune Generative AI models and apply modern techniques from published work.
• Develop scalable data and ML pipelines for ingestion, preprocessing, training, evaluation, and deployment across the clinical development ecosystem.
• Evaluate AI tools and frameworks balancing compliance, performance, and cost.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and 21 CFR Part 11; contribute to data governance and audit-readiness.
• Maintain code repositories with clean, documented, version-controlled code; uphold CI/CD and testing.
