Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr Mngr, Full Stack Clinical Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and operate production-grade AI/ML data platforms for regulated life sciences environments. You will lead MLOps/LLMOps solutions and collaborate with clinical operations and IT to ensure compliant data pipelines.

The role requires a deep background in clinical data infrastructure, modern cloud platforms, and end-to-end delivery, with a focus on scalable, auditable solutions that meet 21 CFR Part 11

Qualifications

• MS in computer science, biomedical informatics, statistics, or related field.
• 6+ years in data engineering within life sciences or healthcare.
• 5–7 years leading data engineering with end-to-end delivery.
• Experience with clinical data infrastructure and data lakes/warehouses.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, and R.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift or BigQuery.
• Cloud architecture on AWS/Azure/GCP; DevOps with CI/CD.
• Hands-on ML/AI pipelines including NLP or predictive modeling.
• Strong communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• HIPAA, GDPR, 21 CFR Part 11 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Translate clinical problems into AI solutions from framing to production deployment.
• Design MLOps/LLMOps pipelines for LLMs in production with best practices.
• Collaborate with data scientists to deploy and tune Generative AI models.
• Build scalable data and ML pipelines for ingestion, preprocessing, training and deployment.
• Evaluate AI tools and frameworks balancing compliance, performance and cost.
• Develop pipelines for structured and unstructured clinical data with integration.
• Increase data interoperability across Global Development systems.
• Implement automated quality monitoring and trigger corrective workflows.
• Contribute to data governance, lineage, and audit readiness.
