Job summary

GROWMARK, Inc. is a Bloomington, IL-based agricultural cooperative seeking a fuels and additives sales professional to grow revenue in assigned markets. You will lead energy strategy, manage account teams, and drive sales of fuel additives and renewable fuels with strong customer relationships.

Requires a bachelor’s degree in business and 5+ years in the petroleum industry, plus willingness to travel 2–3 weeks per month and to work remotely with field visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Normally requires a Bachelor’s degree in a business related field and 5 years or more of petroleum industry experience.
• Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Achieves budgeted sales and gross income targets by developing and maintaining relationships with customers within the assigned market area.
• Creates a demand for products and services by linking customer needs with product and service strategies in fuel additives and renewable fuels.
• Proposes, develops and implements Energy Division marketing strategies and contributes to long-term planning.
• Create an annual sales plan for the designated territory with targets and opportunities.
• Develops and implements professional sales techniques and stays informed on products and customer interests.
• Recommends sales programs to enhance forward/pre buy sales and provides market feedback to management.
• Represents GROWMARK at trade shows and professional meetings; travels with Energy Account Managers as needed.
