Job summary

Cloudbeds, a fully remote company, is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to build the guest-facing booking experience in React and TypeScript. You'll collaborate with backend, product, and design to ship fast, polished features that convert and scale across thousands of properties.

You will optimize performance, lead frontend discussions, and mentor teammates while upholding accessibility and best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on web application development experience.
• Strong command of HTML and CSS.
• Experience with API-driven design and development.
• Solid Git fundamentals, workflows and actions.
• Experience with performance profiling and optimization.
• Excellent collaboration and communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve the guest-facing booking experience in React and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend to plan, build, and ship features.
• Improve performance and conversion through profiling and experimentation.
• Lead discussions with frontend architecture group and stakeholders.
• Mentor teammates through pair programming and code reviews.
• Write clean, well-documented, thoroughly tested code and champion accessibility.
