Job summary

Cloudbeds, a remote-first hospitality software company, is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to shape the guest-facing booking experience. You’ll work in a modern React and TypeScript codebase with product, design, and backend partners to ship fast, polished features that convert.

You’ll be part of the Booking Engine Squad—the team behind the guest reservation flow powering thousands of properties worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of web application development experience.
• Strong command of HTML and CSS.
• Experience with API-driven design and development.
• Good product sense and empathy for our customers.
• Solid Git fundamentals, including workflows and actions.
• Strong knowledge of and a passion for software best practices, design patterns, and testing, including test automation across unit, integration, and end-to-end levels.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve the guest-facing booking experience in React and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend to plan, build, and ship features.
• Improve performance and conversion through profiling and experimentation.
• Lead discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including the frontend architecture group.
• Mentor teammates through pair programming and code reviews.
• Write clean, well-documented, thoroughly tested code, and champion accessibility across the team.
