Actalent is seeking a Senior FPGA Design Engineer to lead full life-cycle digital design for aerospace, defense, SATCOM, and infrared systems. You will translate complex requirements into FPGA implementations, working with Xilinx/Intel devices, and mentoring junior engineers.

The role supports high-speed interfaces, RF DSP, and embedded processing with toolchains including Vivado, Synplify Pro, QuestaSim, and MATLAB.

Qualificações

• Bachelors degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or similar.
• 9+ years of digital electronics design experience with BS or 7+ with MS.
• Strong HDL design experience with VHDL/Verilog.
• Experience with Xilinx Vivado and Synplify Pro for FPGA flow.
• Ability to create robust testbenches and perform verification.
• Knowledge of high-speed digital design and DSP in FPGAs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead full life-cycle digital product development from concept to field support.
• Translate system requirements into embedded and FPGA design specs.
• Design, implement, and verify FPGA hardware and subsystems.
• Develop, code, and verify HDL designs (VHDL/Verilog).
• Create testbenches and verify with QuestaSim; ensure timing closure.
