Job summary

JD Power seeks a Senior Analyst, FP&A to lead critical planning, forecasting, and performance management for the Product, Technology & Analytics group. You will own models, dashboards, and executive-ready insights that shape roadmap prioritization and resource allocation.

You will partner with Finance, Product, and Engineering to deliver accurate forecasts, drive SaaS performance tracking, and craft board-ready materials with clear narratives and actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related analytical discipline.
• 5-8 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical role; experience with exec/product/tech leadership is preferred.
• Experience in SaaS/tech companies and PE portfolio environments is preferred.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with pivot tables/lookups; BI tools like Tableau/Power BI are a plus.
• Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, Adaptive Planning, Tableau/Power BI or similar systems is valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, planning, forecasting, reporting, and financial performance management across the Product, Technology & Analytics organization.
• Create and enhance financial models, KPI dashboards, reporting tools, and planning frameworks for executive visibility.
• Use BI tools (Tableau/Power BI) and SQL to design scalable reporting on technology and product spend.
• Develop insights and recommendations for leadership on budget performance, risks, opportunities, and cost optimization.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly executive and board materials translating data into clear narratives for senior leaders.
• Drive cross-functional planning with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to align roadmaps and resources.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation to increase forecast accuracy and efficiency.
