Job summary

Okta is hiring for an on‑site technical partner role focused on agent identity within large enterprise environments in Illinois and beyond. You will embed with customer security, identity, and platform teams, write production code, and own the technical outcome from prototype to production.

You will design secure agent stacks, coordinate with CISO leadership, and ensure deployments align with OWASP, NIST AI RMF, and compliance needs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years shipping production software with hands-on engineering, on-call maturity.
• Willingness to travel ~35% (incl. international travel).
• Experience with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SCIM, token exchange, act claims, CIMD and DCR.

Responsibilities

• Be the customer's trusted technical voice on agent security and participate in architecture discussions.
• Architect and deploy with the customer's team: integrate Okta's agent security stack and coach engineers.
• Engage senior leadership: brief CISOs and identity leaders, translate token flows to governance terms.
• Deliver white-glove deployments with full identity coverage and governance compliance.
• Keep deployments defensible: map to OWASP Top 10 for Agentic Apps, NIST AI RMF, MITRE ATLAS.
• Wire Okta into the customer's stack: IdP integration, agent lifecycle, posture, SIEM/EDR, runtime policy decisions.
• Build evals and observability: latency, scope sprawl, audit completeness, kill-switch checks.
• Turn field patterns into product: extract gaps and ship reusable modules across customers.
• Be on site: regular presence at customer locations and governance alignment.
