HeiTech Services, a leading government services contractor, seeks a senior FOIA/Program Analyst IV to provide expert analytical support for federal information requests, including backlogged cases, appeals, and litigation matters. The role emphasizes independent judgment, thorough analysis, and accurate recommendations for government review.

Responsibilities include coordinating with government stakeholders, processing requests, applying FOIA exemptions, and supporting eDiscovery workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• 10+ years of professional FOIA experience.
• Demonstrated FOIA case review and processing expertise.
• Experience supporting FOIA processing, disclosure review, redaction, appeals, or litigation.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze records responsive to FOIA requests, backlogged cases, appeals, and litigation.
• Apply FOIA exemptions using independent judgment per laws.
• Coordinate with government staff and requesters to clarify scope and searches.
• Prepare records for release with redaction and indexing.
• Support appeals and litigation, including eDiscovery tool review.
• Develop and implement search terms in eDiscovery systems.
• Maintain complete case files in tracking systems.
• Review work products for accuracy and consistent exemptions.
• Identify processing issues and opportunities to improve workflows.
