Job summary

HeiTech Services, LLC is seeking a FOIA / Program Analyst III to provide analytical support for processing federal information requests including backlogged cases, appeals, and litigation matters. You will review records, apply exemptions, and coordinate with government stakeholders to ensure proper release while protecting sensitive information.

The role involves eDiscovery support, redaction, QA, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing and handling FOIA cases.
• Experience supporting FOIA case processing, disclosure review, records redaction, appeals, litigation.
• Strong knowledge of FOIA, Privacy Act, and related federal requirements.
• Able to coordinate with government offices and custodians.
• Proficient with case-management and eDiscovery tools.

Responsibilities

• Request, identify, review, and analyze records responsive to FOIA requests and related matters.
• Conduct disclosure reviews and apply FOIA exemptions using independent judgment.
• Coordinate with government FOIA staff and requesters to clarify scope and concerns.
• Prepare records for release using redaction tools and Bates numbering.
• Support appeals and litigation with Relativity or other approved tools.
• Develop and implement search terms in eDiscovery systems and document activity.
• Maintain complete case files with analyses, notes, and correspondence.
• Review work products for completeness and accurate exemption application.
• Monitor case progress and propose process improvements.
