$70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

Senior Financial Analyst – $70K to $90K

Location: Remote with occasional travel to office in Wisconsin (quarterly).

Compensation: $70,000 to $90,000

An established and growing organization in the financial services industry is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its team. This role provides analytical and operational support within the Finance Department, assisting senior accounting and finance leadership with financial analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting analysis, regulatory reporting, and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) control documentation.
• Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly earnings releases, earnings supplements, and presentations.
• Support the preparation and review of SEC filings (10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks).
• Conduct financial analysis to document, refine, and enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) to support business decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide financial insights and analysis to management, including ad hoc reporting as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with applicable accounting and banking regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Step in for various department functions as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting analysis, preferably in the financial services industry.
• Strong technical skills in financial reporting, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with SOX controls, SEC reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.
