BenchPrep is seeking a Staff/Senior Accountant to support finance, reporting, and regulatory compliance. You’ll maintain records, prepare reports, and drive budgeting, forecasting, and audits in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years in accounting or auditing; public accounting helpful.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain reconciliations, entries, AR/AP, and billing.
• Analyze expenses and report to departments.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and revenue recognition.
• Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and budgets.
• Assist with year-end tax schedules and process improvements.
