Job summary

Blooming Health is seeking a Senior Manager/Director of Finance to build and lead our finance function as we scale in healthcare technology. Based in NYC or remotely on the East Coast, with monthly travel to the NYC office, this leader partners with executive leadership to drive planning, governance, and insights.

The role combines accounting, forecasting, fundraising support, and strategic finance initiatives, shaping board materials, models, and decisions.

Qualifications

• CPA Certification preferred (not required).
• 6+ years in finance, accounting, FP&A, or related leadership.
• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and exec reporting.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP and financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Own budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and monthly reporting.
• Build scalable financial models, KPI dashboards, and reporting systems.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, cash management, month-end close.
• Partner with People Ops, Tech, Product, Ops, and Commercial teams on planning.
• Support revenue, pricing, contracts, and growth initiatives with financial insight.
• Lead fundraising activities, investor reporting, board materials, and long-range planning.
• Oversee tax compliance, risk management, and internal controls.
• Design scalable financial systems and processes to enable growth.
