Job summary

Medsien, a San Francisco-based provider of remote care management, seeks a Finance Manager to lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. You will build models, forecast revenue and expenses, and deliver KPI dashboards for the CEO and COO.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in strategic finance, FP&A or related finance role.
• Strong experience building and maintaining financial models, budgets, forecasts.
• Ability to analyze performance and translate data into actionable insights.
• Experience creating management reporting and executive presentations.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, accrual accounting, and cash flow.
• Experience partnering with leaders on investments and headcount decisions.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills for scalable models.
• Strong executive communication and ability to explain complex finance to non-finance leaders.
• Hands-on in a fast-growing org while building scalable processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Build and maintain financial models to support short-term and long-term planning.
• Develop revenue, expense, headcount, cash-flow, and profitability forecasts.
• Create financial reports, KPI dashboards, and executive insights.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Marketing on departmental plans.
• Evaluate pricing, customer profitability, unit economics, and margins.
• Support cash management, runway planning, and capital planning.
• Improve data reliability and automate reporting processes.
• Prepare materials for board, investors, and lenders.
