Job summary

AmeriLife Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Manager, Finance Data Platform to lead the Finance Data Platform engineering, delivery, and governance across G/L, P&L, FP&A, commissions, and related financial processes.

You will drive the modernization of finance data capabilities on the Databricks Lakehouse, build scalable data pipelines, enforce data quality and controls, and partner with Finance leadership to translate complex requirements into reliable data solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
• 3+ years leading data engineering teams.
• Strong hands-on SQL and data pipeline design.
• Experience with Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake.
• Cloud experience with Azure or AWS.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Finance Data Platform engineering, delivery, operations, and modernization.
• Translate complex finance requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Partner with Finance stakeholders on data models, governance, and reporting.
• Oversee Databricks Lakehouse migration and CI/CD practices.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and automated controls across platforms.
