Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Sr CS Application Engineer to join our Smart Infrastructure team. The role can be worked remotely and reports to our Wendell, NC HQ, focusing on complex field service proposals and bid management.

You will coordinate with regional teams, create technical and commercial offers, and support negotiations while tracking opportunities in CRM tools like Salesforce Sieops. Prior success in a multicultural setting is preferred.

Qualifications

5+ years engineering or project management/field service experience in transmission and/or distribution products.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiating, writing and presentation skills to communicate with internal and external contacts.
History of measurable goal-driven success in a multicultural team environment.
Experience working in a multicultural, collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

Create technical and commercial field service proposals focusing on complex modifications and long-term service agreements.
Review and markup customer technical specifications.
Coordinate with Siemens Regional, Product Business Development, and other channels on proposals and opportunities.
Prepare proposal documents including LoA, cover cost calculations, and scope descriptions.
Support sales managers during negotiations and clarifications; maintain CRM hygiene in Salesforce/Sieops.
