HyperStrong International USA Corp is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead quality programs for BESS project delivery across the US region. This hands-on role conducts field inspections, drives NCR management, and champions RCA/CAPA to resolve issues on multiple projects.

Experience in electrical trades and field environments is essential, with Mandarin preferred for cross-border collaboration with HyperStrong HQ in China. Remote-friendly US-based work is supported, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a related field within energy storage, power systems, or construction.
• Experience implementing quality programs and writing inspection procedures, checklists, and standards in a field environment.
• Background in the electrical trades; must understand BESS equipment and identify poor workmanship.
• Hands-on field inspection experience, including delivery inspections, installation quality verification, and pre-commissioning checks.
• Proven experience leading RCA and CAPA processes; familiarity with 8D reporting.
• Experience managing NCRs, punch lists, and corrective action tracking across multiple projects.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and drive corrective actions.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and installation drawings.
• Experience with international manufacturing teams and cross‑time‑zone communication.
• Mandarin proficiency is strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Implement and maintain quality programs, inspection procedures, and checklists for BESS project delivery across the US Region.
• Evaluate and recommend quality management tools to support inspection tracking, NCR management, and reporting.
• Conduct field inspections during equipment delivery and pre‑commissioning to verify workmanship quality and compliance.
• Hold EPC contractors and subcontractors accountable to HyperStrong quality standards; document and escalate NCRs.
• Identify quality issues in the field and drive timely resolution; manage NCRs and punch lists.
• Lead RCA and CAPA processes using structured problem-solving methods such as 8D.
• Maintain accurate quality records: inspection reports, NCRs, CAPA logs, and failure mode tracking.
• Collaborate with Commissioning and Field Service teams to ensure consistent quality across projects.
• Escalate quality findings with regular reporting on inspection outcomes and metrics.
• Meet with HQ Manufacturing to solve design and quality issues; ensure safety compliance.
