Job summary

HyperStrong International USA Corp in the United States is seeking a Project Manager to join our PTO Project management team to support the delivery and execution of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects for HyperStrong Americas. You will lead or support end-to-end project execution, coordinate schedules with internal teams and external partners, and monitor progress, risks, and change management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field.
• 2–5 years of project management or coordination experience; BESS, renewable energy, battery, PCS, EMS, power systems, or EPC projects a strong plus.
• Basic understanding of energy storage systems or utility-scale energy projects preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support end-to-end execution of BESS projects from kickoff through commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate project schedules, deliverables, and milestones with internal teams and external partners.
• Track project progress, risks, and issues; escalate to Senior Project Manager as needed.
• Support project documentation, reporting, and change management processes.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics and Service teams to ensure alignment.
• Assist with vendor and subcontractor coordination, including tracking deliverables and timelines.
• Coordinate site-related activities, including preparation for delivery, installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Prepare regular project status reports for internal stakeholders and management.
• Support customer communication on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or support end-to-end execution of BESS projects from project kickoff through commissioning and handover.

• Support project documentation, reporting, and changing management processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of project management or project coordination experience; experience with BESS, renewable energy, battery, PCS, EMS, power systems, or EPC projects is a strong plus.
• Basic understanding of energy storage systems, power electronics, or utility-scale energy projects preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project); familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with global teams.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites as required.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Chinese Mandarin is a strong plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of contract basics, change orders, and project controls.
• PMP certification is a plus but not mandated.

Work Location

Based in the United States, work remotely from home.

Travel & Work Conditions

• 20% travel
• Full-time, remote.
