Job summary

Keeper Security is seeking a Senior Federal Platform Engineer to lead hands-on delivery, deployment, automation, and sustainment of Keeper solutions in high-security government environments, including IL5, IL6, and classified networks. This 100% remote role involves coordinating with security teams to ensure secure, auditable, and compliant platform operations, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps/Platform Engineering/SRE or related roles.
• Experience deploying and operating in IL5/IL6/FedRAMP or restricted gov environments.
• Strong CI/CD pipelines, release automation & deployment workflows.
• Infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
• Experience with AWS GovCloud and/or Azure Government.
• Scripting with Python, Bash, PowerShell.
• Knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, RMF and related controls.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• U.S. Person; Keeper FedRAMP authorization indicates eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows for federal environments
• Support software releases, deployment execution, cutovers, validation, rollback planning, and post-release monitoring
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC tools
• Maintain hardened infrastructure, baselines, patching, and operational controls for restricted environments
• Troubleshoot complex deployment and platform issues with Engineering and Security teams
• Build and maintain logging, monitoring, and telemetry for system reliability
• Support incident response, recovery, postmortems, and corrective actions for federal platforms
• Partner with Engineering, QA, Security, and Product to improve readiness and release quality
• Maintain runbooks, deployment docs, and configuration records for federal systems
• Support continuous monitoring and authorization activities by producing technical evidence
• Assist with vulnerability remediation and security hardening
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve automation and scripting
