Job summary

KBR Careers is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Cybersecurity Engineer to join our National Security Solutions team. The primary work location is remote and you will embed within Agile teams delivering capabilities for IL5/IL6 production environments.

You will work with developers, cloud engineers, ISSMs/AOs, and government cybersecurity personnel to ensure security, compliance, and rapid deployment of mission capabilities while addressing CVE analysis and RMF execution.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret clearance eligibility required.
• (or ability to obtain).
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS or related field.
• 7+ years in cybersecurity/DevSecOps or defense-related work.
• Strong RMF experience and knowledge of NIST 800-53 controls.
• Ability to explain cybersecurity risk to both technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity engineering within DevSecOps software delivery.
• Provide cybersecurity guidance across the SDLC from design to production.
• Evaluate architectures for DoD/USSF cybersecurity requirements.
• Collaborate with development, platform, cloud, and infrastructure teams.
