Job summary

Grey Street Consulting, LLC (Grey Street) is seeking a Senior Contract Specialist/Administrator III to support the Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration. The role is remote with potential on-site days in the future and requires cradle-to-grave procurement expertise across multiple contract types.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years in contracting, a BA/BS degree, and senior-level knowledge of FAR/GSAR, pre/post-award actions, and experience with PRISM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in contracting or related field and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) to effectively assist customers and collaborate as a team member.
• Ability to recommend procurement strategies requiring senior-level expertise for government needs.
• Active participation as a team member, assessing contractual requirements and providing meaningful recommendations.
• Excellent computer skills with MS Office and Google Workspace; strong internet research skills.
• Solid knowledge of Federal contracts (FFP, FP with Economic Adjustments, LH, T&M) and IDIQ/BPAs/Orders.

Responsibilities

• Support cradle-to-grave procurement actions from planning to execution.
• Assist with acquisition planning, solicitation, evaluation, award, post-award administration and close-out.
• Meet with program officials (COR/CO) to facilitate procurement actions.
• Input contractual actions into FTA’s contract writing system (PRISM) and maintain updates.
• Perform data verification, quality assurance, and Federal reporting.
• Support call/task/delivery orders and contract modifications as needed.
