Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with at least five years in FACTS and HV power systems engineering.
- Experience with FACTS controls, protection, PLC troubleshooting, and event/Comtrade analysis.
- Experience commissioning high voltage/substation equipment and performing maintenance testing.
Responsibilities
- Support install base of HVDC and FACTS systems focusing on FSCs.
- Lead technical aspects on multi-year service contracts for FACTS technologies.
- Promote customer satisfaction through proactive communication and requirements handling.
- Analyze event logs and transient records to diagnose malfunctions and provide solutions.
- Provide technical direction during site activities and during commissioning and maintenance.
- Travel up to ~20% domestically/internationally for site visits and commissioning.
- Define specifications for FACTS FSC systems and support tendering teams.
