Job summary

Opus Agency is seeking a Senior Event Manager in Operations to drive logistics and program management for large-scale events. This remote role requires an executor with meticulous planning, vendor coordination, and budget discipline to deliver flawless events for 5,000–15,000+ attendees.

You will collaborate with the Event Management group, lead sub-workstreams, and mentor junior staff while traveling domestically and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience within the event industry.
• 2-3 years team management experience.
• Experience leading programs or managing complex workstreams at a large scale (5,000-15,000+ attendees).

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of complex workstreams and event logistics for large-scale events (5,000-15,000+ attendees).
• Own detailed operational planning, including timelines, production schedules, run-of-show, and vendor coordination.
• Partner with the Project Lead to ensure operational execution aligns with program strategy, client goals, and budget parameters.
• Manage vendor relationships within assigned workstreams, including sourcing, communication, and ensuring delivery meets scope, timeline, and quality expectations.
• Track and manage workstream budgets, ensuring expenses are controlled and documented.
• Travel domestically and internationally to lead event execution as needed.
