Job summary

Humana Inc. in the United States seeks a Lead Enterprise Architect to align business vision with technology strategy and drive IT portfolio execution. You will mentor other architects, shape cloud strategy across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, and lead value-driven modernization initiatives in a remote, 40-hour week role.

Travel may be required. Compensation ranges from $142,300 to $195,700 per year, with bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Progressive experience as a senior application/solutions architect or technical lead in a large organization.
10+ years hands-on design, development, and testing of software applications.
3-5 years of experience in Cloud technologies, Cloud migration or Enterprise Architecture.
Expert knowledge of enterprise architecture patterns, cloud architectures and agile delivery.

Responsibilities

Serve as an advocate for the business within IT, aligning technology execution with business strategy.
Drive value by executing Humana’s Technology Strategy in line with corporate vision and segment strategies.
Engage in enterprise technology modernization with architecture guidance and execution support.
Act as evangelist for lean enterprise architecture within an agile delivery framework.
Collaborate with teams to map business vision to value streams, capabilities, and functions.
Document current-state architecture, value streams, and domain capability models.
Align technology portfolio with opportunities identified in technology portfolio rationalization.
